| | I am the mother of three sons. My youngest son, Ari, was diagnosed with Autism when he was three (he is now 29 years old).
I draw from my own personal experience with him and others to design rooms which are customized for individuals, like Ari, with special needs.
Because my own home was damaged by Ari's destructive behavioral tendencies, I want to help other families avoid this painful experience.
My educational background includes studying Early Childhood Education at Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
In 1998, I earned a Certificate in Residential Design at the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
I am a RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America) Certified Assistive Technology Professional. | | | | | | | | I am in application to be appointed by the Governor as a member of the Family Care Council and to become a Medicaid Waiver Provider. These applications are in Tallahasee awaiting approval. | | |
